SUCCESSFUL TWO-COLOUR EVA PRODUCTION

The new machine E266 EVALUTION for two-colour EVA in operation at the booth attracted a lot of attention.

The series of E266 EVALUTION machines incorporates the whole experience and know-how that MAIN GROUP has accumulated in the EVA injection and in particular in the two-colour EVA production.

Number of stations available: 2 – 4 – 6 – 8 stations. The machine showed at the Simac fair was in the 4-station version.

Number of colours: one or two, also one only colour but in two different densities.

Type of material to be used. EVA in one or two colours or densities which allows:

– excellent comfort/stability ratio

– velvet / rubber touch

– lightness

– very good hot / cold insulation.

TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES

The absence of rejects such as long sprues and flashes, an aspect to be always considered in the EVA production, allows to get an higher productivity and to save in the material quantity and cost.

Thanks to the innovative and revolutionary system, the mould cleaning in the E 266 EVALUTION machines is extremely simple and fast.

The operator has the possibility to work easier and in optimal conditions, to drastically reduce the time required for cleaning the mould, thereby increasing production considerably.

The whole design of the machine has seen the adoption of mechanical solutions oriented to significant energy savings.

The examples are manifold, one among many the closing phase: a mechanism allows a considerable increase in the speed of movement thus obtaining a drastic reduction of time and flow rate of oil used in step 4, all to the advantage of quality in the final product and of productivity, as well as energy savings

In the E 266 EVALUTION, thanks to design solutions adopted for the whole hydraulic system and for the hydraulic unit, the dissipation of energy is very low so as not to require a refrigeration unit

The study and the technical design have led to the identification of 4 injectors as the optimal solution to allow great flexibility in the use of more colours during the production cycle of the machine

OPEN HOUSE IN MAIN GROUP, Monday October 8 2012

3 years have passed from the relaunch of Main Group brand, production is going on at full speed, the organization and production structures have improved, new machines and technologies are constantly being put on the market.

It’s the opportunity to welcome you all
During the visit at our new headquarters, you will experience all this: the new organization, the two 4000 sq.m. each sheds, the spare-parts warehouse, the new R&D department and the production department, where are being currently produced different types of machines (soles-boots-eva-pu-pvc).

Working machine
Particularly, it will be concretely shown in production cycle the OMEGA-900 machine for the production of PUR+PUR or TPU+PUR boots.
Omega is the only machine on the market that allows to produce, on the same machine, both PUR+PUR and TPU+PUR boots.
Already sold in large quantities, it will be fully running complete with moulds.

The DELTA series provides the widest range of machines for the production of shoes, sandals and boots in thermoplastic materials, designed in optimal configurations to emphasize the maximum performance.

Depending on production requirements:

– The holders are designed to work in either ST (Sole / Upper) and TS (Upper / Sole) system

– The injectors are designed for both aligned and overlying position

– The closing power of both vertical and horizontal presses vary depending on the configuration chosen.

SIMAC 2011 – the MAIN GROUP booth video

Have a look to the MAIN GROUP booth during the 3 days of the SIMAC Fair in Bologna.
ROSS 260 T. machine working. It has been producing fullplastic sneakers and technical rigid soles both in two colours and employing compact and expanded TPU material.
PRAGMA 24 st. machine working. It has been producing casual shoes, working and safety shoes in one and dual density Polyurethane, in one and two colours and with inserts too.

ROSS 260 tons: LOWER COSTS FOR HIGH QUALITY SOLES

 Thinner and thinner soles, materials increasingly rigid, increasingly complex designs: these are the latest trends, along with guarantees of high quality finished product at low cost!

To achieve this you need a high performance machine with clamping force and important plan that allows mold to allocate even larger molds.

And the version to 260 t. is the result of a careful design study that showed this configuration as the optimal solution for the new needs of soles manufacturers.

During the Simac ROSS using the material and worked APINAT and APILON, innovative family of bio-degradable polymers contain between 20% and 70% of renewable raw materials, while maintaining the quality and processability characteristics of elevateti traditional TPU from synthetic sources.

PRAGMA 24 STATIONS – FLEXIBILITY IN PUR SHOE MANUFACTURING

 Higher productivity, faster color change, positioning inserts: these are some of the advantages that the machines PRAGMA provide for the injection of the upper TPU + PU and PU + PU.

A good example was the  footwear produced on the machine directly to the stand during the MAIN GROUP SIMAC of Bologna.
In the automatic cycle PRAGMA injected shoes monodensity PU, PUR dual density, two-color and with  inserts.

PRAGMA can work with any type of polyurethane polymers allowing to produce footwear complying with EN 344-345 with high productivity with faster cycle times and superior resistance to humid ageing.
